Supporting the Catholic Church has been a hallmark of the Knights of Columbus since its founding in 1882. From funding the restoration of the facade of St. Peter's Basilica in Rome to operating an usher ministry at a local parish, the Knights of Columbus serves the Church in countless ways. Bishop R.O. Gerow Memorial Fund - Established in 1953 for the use of Diocese of Jackson and the Diocese of Biloxi for the education of seminarians. Funds are donated by Mississippi Councils and distributed annually at the State Convention.

Houck Fund Mississippi Retired Religious Fund - Established in 2016 by Mississippi Knights of Columbus for the use of Diocese of Jackson and the Diocese of Biloxi for the support of retired religious. Funds are donated by Mississippi Councils and distributed annually at the State Convention.
