Knights in Action
Knights of Columbus St. John Council 10901, Oxford, donated $30,000 to provide an updated ultrasound machine for the Oxford Pregnancy Center. Knights of Columbus Supreme contributed the balance of the $59,243 needed to purchase the machine. On November 13, Fr. Mark Shoffner, St. John's Catholic Church, offered a blessing for the work of the Pregnancy Center with the ultrasound equipment.
In November, James D. Hart Council 9673, Woolmarket, held a Corporate Communion mass at St. Mary Catholic Church. The Council is active at the church, where Knights serve in all aspects of mass ministries. The mass was followed by an Exemplification at which eight men became new Knights.
Council 14051 and Assembly 3081, Olive Branch, held a Silver Rose Service on October 2 at Queen of Peace Church. Assembly 3081 provided an Honor Guard.
